Just moved to a new router and modem. Same PC. Now when I type
https://plan.electricimp.com/ide/ or https://plan.electricimp.com
I get
Not found

What am I doing wrong?
I saved this URL as a favorite months ago, and it always worked.

"Connection timed out"
It’s a satellite modem with 600ms ping times.

Please be more specific. Every other app and website has worked here for years. The Imp itself goes green after Blinkup. Do I have the correct URL above?

I meant the DNS settings in the new modem/router

What should I look for? DNS has been working fine for every PC and smart phone in the household for years. Many web sites. Every app you can imagine. The only limitation until now was the 600ms ping times. Rebooted modem, rebooted router, rebooted PC, tried other hardware, iPad, smartphone, 3 browsers. What next?

If you have your PC on DHCP, then it gets its DNS-settings from the router (new). If your (new) router is set on DHCP then it get its DNS-settings from the modem (also new). If the DNS-settings in the router and/or modem are incorrect, your PC will get wrong DNS-settings, even it has worked for years.

Try the ip-address 74.125.132.10 (Google) direct in your browser. If it works, then you know you have a DNS problem, if www.google.com doesn’t work

100’s of websites do work today. Oddly 74.125.132.10 says Waiting for 74.125.132.10… Why would my Router only block Imp IDE? Should I test it with DMZ?

Disable SPI firewall
Setup DMZ to my IP
Same results

I don’t think anything has changed on my PC.
I can verify this because I get the same results on other PC’s and iPad.

When I said “new” I meant new to Imp. It’s been working for years.

The ping times could be a clue to your problem. Maybe electric.imp servers implement session timeouts which are a bit too quick for your rather long latency of 600ms. Why are you using a satellite modem, are you in the middle of the ocean? If you don’t have wired access at your location, maybe a 3G modem is a better option (also cheaper, I think).

Dish Satellite TV. I have tried Mifi at this location the ping times are not much better 4g is not available. Please help? Any ideas?

I don’t think your problem is Imp related, maybe your ISP can help you.

Works great when I use a proxy in Firefox. Any ideas?
