At the end of blinkup you should see a short flash.

Sorry, I don’t understand your response? You need the imp.configure call to make the imp appear in the planner. If your code never issues that call, or crashes before geting to it, the imp will not appear in the planner (ie, if you delete it, then plug the imp back in, it then won’t appear - if you don’t delete it it will still be there).
