One of the (many) things I really love about the Electric Imp is the online IDE. That is truly a dream come true!
Something in the code needs a fix? Just grab any device with a browser and you are on it.
Today, though, the device I grabbed was an Ipad… It was not exactly easy to do edits.
- It is very difficult to tap in a way, that brings the cursor into the text fields of the editor.
- Almost impossible to place the cursor at the correct position for an edit.
- And, once you start typing, the position of the blinking cursor, and the actual point of editing is several letters apart.
I tried in both Safari, Chrome and Coast on both an Ipad and an Ipad Mini and all had the same troubles.
I know you get a ton of requests, but it could probably be solved quite easily with some alterations to css-styles. It looks like there are some overlapping hidden fields, that grabs the touch before the text field.
