Just wondering if it is possible to connect a solar panel to imp006 (perhaps as primary cell) to charge (utilising builtin LiPo Charger) and run it off a LiPo battery?

The imp006 breakout doesn’t specifically have solar charging support (no MPPT like the impC001 breakout did) - however, if you have a solder panel which outputs 5v then in theory you could hook that to USB.
It may be easier instead to use a lead-acid battery (6v or 12v) with a solar charger, and jumper the board for primary cell instead though?
