I’m trying learn the tutorial where you need to build and run " server.log(“Hello from the device!”) " and the IDE log should
show [Device] Hello from the device!. I have difficulty doing this

Where in the Device code pane should I past this code?

The Device pane is the right-most part of the screen. At the top of that area, just below where it says ‘Device’ (there’s a pencil icon next to it).
