has anybody out there done some measurement of typcial time between switch on wifi, reconnect with the router, send a data package (let’s say 1 kByte) and switch wifi off again?
I need that for some energy calculations for a battery operated imp device.

When in the US, this is typically around ~1.2 seconds. From europe/asia there’s maybe another second in round trip latencies.
