The forum search function does not find what I expect

I searched on the forum with key words current + consumption because I wanted to find:
this post . The search function does not do what I expect. How does it work?

The search function isn’t very good. It’s probably best for now to use an external search engine and include forums.electricimp.com in the query, e.g.:

https://www.google.co.uk/?q=current+consumption+site:forums.electricimp.com
