Electric Imp is showing up as a device on my home network (with minimal data use associated with it), but to my knowledge, I don’t have one of these critters–any idea what’s up? Thanks!

It’s likely inside one of the IoT products you own. Rachio? Toymail? Edyn? Quirky? Petnet? Garageio? etc etc.
Neighbor hopping onto your WiFi?
Or maybe you have a smart tv or wifi printer and you forgot about that being on wifi?
