Working through Trailhead instructions at https://trailhead.salesforce.com/projects/workshop-electric-imp/steps/create-a-context-in-salesforce to create my IoT context in Salesforce.
The instructions ask me to search for “Contexts” in the quick search box. However, if this is the first time you are using Salesforce IOT in your org, you will not find “Contexts” and be pretty stuck at this point. What you have to do first is to enable the org for Salesforce IoT.
Here is how:
- in the quick search type “IoT”
- the result will have a page called “Get Started”
- open the page and toggle the “Enable Salesforce IoT” setting
At that point you will be able to follow the instructions in the Trailhead.
