After some tinkering I’ve created a simple transistor circuit to open the front door of my NYC apartment building via my iPhone. When enabled (by loading the http URL on my iPhone) the imp completes the analog circuit the same way button on the wall terminal would. It can also be reconfigured for varying button-press durations.

Is the URL on your phone or browser saved in history? And can you see the imp agent code (URL access code)? If anyone can see that, it will allow them to open the door themselves.
If you have a website or web account, you could use PHP to do a simple login technique and hide the imp code, and other security measures.
But, doing this Imp stuff is very addicting. You’re hooked now.
