Reconnect to Unsable WiFi

Hello!

I’ve got a unstable wifi network which disconnects from time to time, as it is a part of a local cultural institution. Right now I’m hard rebooting my imp when it disconnects, because it seems like the imp go into sleep when it has connection problems. Can i program it to wake up at an interval and check if the wifi network is back, and sleep again if it isn’t? :slight_smile:

You can, but in fact the imp normally wakes up at 10-minute intervals to check whether the wifi has come back. The best place to start for understanding both automatic, and optional manual, reconnection is this page: https://electricimp.com/docs/resources/wifistatediagram/
