(Not sure if this is more appropriately posted on the SparkFun forums … perhaps I should try there also).
I’ve had a simple data stream I’ve had posting successfully to Phant for about a month or so abruptly stop working last week. (No changes to agent or device code … it just stopped posting. I believe device and agent continue to run fine - other notifications continue to be sent out without any problems … only the Phant piece no longer functions).
I haven’t got under the hood yet to unpack things and look into details … just a general query at this point to see if anyone else has had any similar recent experiences. (I’m happy to expose my code, but it’s basically just a copy of a related SF tutorial).
Ok, my oversight here for missing this thread on the topic. (Hard to search sometimes). I’ll look into switching over to http: and also keep an eye on the SF forums. Sorry about the duplicate thread.
You might have noted this thread from their forum @Hugo which I believe referenced your comments on that other EI thread here from last month.
In any event, like others here, just switching over to http: looks to have done the trick for me. (Again, I haven’t pursued any further investigation, but would concur with your comments that whatever changed appears to have happened on the SF side, on or about Dec. 30 in my case).
