Permanent values on agent?

On the imp I use “server.setpermanentvalues” to persist my data. At the moment my agent sends it’s data table to the imp with device.send(); and on the imp I persist it by invoking server.setpermanentvalues. Did I miss something? Is persisting data on agent-side also possible?

Agent side persistence is coming soon, but isn’t there yet.
