No LEDs for Electric Imp 003 on batteries

I bought an Electric Imp 003 from DigiKey and two new AA batteries. When I put in the batteries, there are no LED lights. Is the 003 supposed to work on just batteries?

Yes, it will. You need to move the jumper to select the boost supply vs the buck supply.

Thanks! That worked. Maybe the Getting Started Guide should actually say what the jumper does? I had no idea what boost/buck means.
