NO_CTSRTS makes pin 1,2 available for digital IO on uart1289?

hello in this conf.
x <- hardware.uart1289; x.configure(9600, 8, PARITY_NONE, 1, NO_CTSRTS, readserial);
can i use pin 1 and 2 as digital pins as i have NO_CTSRTS set ?
