Newbie question about imp pin current

I apologize in advance if this is common knowledge but I couldn’t find anything searching the forum.

I am getting an imp002 module and I am trying to find out how much current can a pin handle. Being a newbie, I am thinking the first thing I’ll do to learn is to use a couple RGB leds. Is this possible? Or should I think about using a transistor for each one of them.
