Your reference design is meant for verifying an OTA deployment of code for the BCM2073x only ? One would still need to implement an external oscillator, EEPROM and antenna for the design to be a fully functional BLE system ?
Actually, it does not require external memory components unless your BLE app requires more code space. Although, I am disappointed that the device and agent code does not support programming the internal code of the BCM which is what I’ve been looking for… This page and schematic show that someone did it:

But then it only references the code that will only program external devices. Does any one have the original bcm20736s code for this reference-design?
