Imp006 as hotspot

Hi all!

I guess the question is clear from the topic - is it possible to use imp006 as hotspot?

The idea is to use imp006 mobile network and to connect other imps (e.g. imp001) to the hotspot to get internet connection as well as to communicate locally trough UDP.

Hope I explained good enough to understand.

I’m afraid not. Under impOS 42, the imp006 (or any other imp) can communicate with other devices, including imps, on the local network via UDP, but it’s not designed to share its Internet connection — it’s not a router. Each imp will still need to connect to the local WiFi router to get an IP address and Internet access.
