Ah yes. You do need to enter the password - it’s not possible for an app to read the passwords from the phone (either iOS or android).
I think I have got to the bottom of the issue. Seems like a combination of RTM and router setup. It did connect for a few seconds (green LED) and then disconnected, thereafter I could not get it to connect again. The problem was a clash of IP addresses on my network. I set the IMP to a static IP and now all is well.

Very strange, had the router been rebooted recently? It shouldn’t be handing out addresses in use to other devices.
