is it possible that the imp changes the value of the configuration parameter that is shown in the planer?
I’ve tried something like
imp.configparams.var = a;but that didn’t change the value.
I don’t know if it’s even possible in this direction.

It’s not possible in that direction right now, no. It just updates the local table.
