I have a session at HTML5 Developer Conference in SF on Oct 21 - 25. The session is a rapid-fire walk through the creative aspects of building things (why to be a maker) by way of demonstrated examples. I’ll show the iconic blinking LED on Arduino, and talk about how to control it via Node.js. From there I talk about making custom enclosures with 3D printing and laser cutting, and move to Electric Imp to go wireless. I’ll mention Imp selling points along the way such as solid wireless stack, blink up to set SSID/password, remote firmware updates and low battery consumption.
