Forward Proxy

Is client site (forward) proxy server on the feature roadmap?

+++
I have a use case where traffic from a client to the Internet passes through a proxy. This type of feature has been available in http/https clients since the days of Netscape and Lynx.

imp device(s) --> forward proxy --> [imp’s undisclosed cloud reverse proxy] --> imp agent(s)

Not at this point, no. Technically a SOCKS proxy is a possibility, but configuration is hard (ie would require a longer blinkup).

Given that the proxy cannot look at the traffic anyway, and there wouldn’t be authentication on the proxy, what’s the intention here?
