We’ll be updating the forums on Monday Feb 2 at 11am PST. The update should not take long to complete, although you may see some outages during the process.
The update includes some tweaks to the UI, but generally everything will keep working as it has been.
The forums update is complete.
This update was primarily to patch some security vulnerabilities in Vanilla Forums, but also bring a new UI, etc. Let us know what you think!
We are also looking at moving to Discourse - a more modern (and more developer + search) friendly forum software. We’d love to hear your input on that front as well!
Is it just me, or are threads which I haven’t read occasionally coming up marked as “read” since the update?
It’s not just you. I also see threads nit marked as having new replies or read that I have not yet read.
