You can send sms and email with an agent, yes. Agents are in closed beta, yes.
An agent is a server-side squirrel VM that accompanies every imp in the field. This is kinda similar to the old vimp concept, apart from it’s a 1:1 pairing (you can’t have an agent without an imp).
