It seems eaton has completely discontinued their blinkup based smart breakers and I can no longer configure them with eaton apps.
I was able to get my eaton ev charger app to connect to my wifi with the electric imp iOS app but it fails to collect any data.
How can I get this device to be useful again so I can use it with OCPP and not have it become ewaste?
That may not be possible, unfortunately.
Generally, you could contact a manufacturer with your device mac address and ask them to ‘unbless’ a discontinued device, after which it could be configured with the electric imp app and appear in your developer account. You would have to write new squirrel code to control the hardware and connect from the agent to any third-party services.
Saying that, most if not all imp-based Eaton devices use separate servers and encryption keys, so would not be able to interact with our public cloud servers at all. You can DM a mac address for me to confirm.
