When the LED went off, I assumed update was installed, because the LEDs OFF means Normal operation. But when I restarted IMP it downloaded the firmware again. We have a bandwidth limited wifi connection. Can you leave the green LED ON during firmware upgrade?
There were a number of imp002’s made with a bootrom that incorrectly turned the LEDs off after 60s even during a firmware update. As we don’t update bootroms in the field, this is just how that device will work - the update is not affected.
Earlier/later devices don’t suffer from this.
