Erstwhile Electric Impite @beardedinventor produced a useful Node.js-based suite of command line tools to help developers access the Electric Imp Cloud through the Build API. The suite is called imp-cli and I’ve just completed the formal documentation:
Running El Capitan and imp init does not create the agent and device file locally, but it does make the model appear on the web ide.

Making the two files manually and then running imp push does work.
Well spotted. I’ll add a note to the docs.
“The imp-cli User Guide” mentioned in the first note above receives a 403-Forbidden access error.
