Bluetooth support

Does anyone have any ideas how I can interface my imp with a Bluetooth dongle? Ideally, I’d like to be able to use the planner to switch the Bluetooth on and off, and to use an Android app to search for the Bluetooth signal then connect to a socket behind it.

All suggestions gratefully received.

The imp has serial IO, and there are plenty of bluetooth modules with serial interfaces : https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/115

Look for a JY-MCU Bluetooth module. Price <US$10 with shipping. Backplane has 4-pins: VIN GND TXD RXD. Simple 2-wire serial interface.
