A client showed me what happened on his Huawei P8 Lite after blinking up a device. The whole screen stays on a “high blinking” state after the blink up on any UI that the screen that was showing. Even quitting the app didn’t resolve the issue. Is this a known issue, maybe cheap hardware used in this device?
As in the screen looks flickery for a while after blinkup?
This seems to be a problem with early IPS displays - we have seen it on some 2+ year old HTC devices too; the effect fades over time. It appears to be an actual instability in the pixels (somehow). It’s totally unrelated to the software - ie nothing the software does will “fix” this - and in our experience doesn’t affect blinkup reliability.
