BLE security and pairing

I have a GATT server running on IMP004m and I’d like to add security to the link. I’m connecting via an iOS app that controls a number of Imps each having a page interface. The app disconnects from a device whenever you navigate to the page for a different device.

It looks like the device isn’t bonding. When reconnecting to an Imp that’s been paired, iOS asks to pair again.

Is this expected behavior?

Yes. impOS’ Bluetooth functionality doesn’t currently support bonding (ie. pairing and remembering that paring took place).
