smARTMAKERS Hannah: Temperature Logger example code -> "I2C Read Failure"

update:
thinking about your problems, I’m now convinced that you have an old Hannah board, NOT a Rev 3.
So you cant use all the latest applications and addresses

Maybe, I thought about it too, though on PCB I see clearly “REV3”…

Where can I find REV2 resources? (example code, addresses, schematics, etc.)

Thanks.

How long do you have these boards?
The Rev 3 boards are around since half June. every program before that , is likely to be written for the old board

I have it from few weeks ago, that’s REV3 era I guess.

See photo attached. Do you have rev 2 example so I’ll test it?

That’s a Rev3.
You should get in touch with Smartmakers to find a solution

Thanks, I’ve just sent email to info@smartmaker.com‬

Hope they’ll answer fast, since we consider using other platform if I2C won’t work.

Thanks for your support!

I hope it will work out.
I’m happy with my Hannah. It took me a while to get that thing working, but now I have only the Accelerator and the light sensor getting to work

Dimitri gave us a perfect support (thanks again Dimitri), probably the IMP itself been ruined its I2C ports by using it on some Arduino based kits before. :slight_smile:

Thanks again!

@Dolf- Can I see some code for light sensor when you’re finished?

@sbright33
sure, but it is not on top of the list.
But I do have a new Hanna Demo, with potmeter,temperature sensor, LEDs, Daylightsavings, and Xively usage.

Everyone has the same bug for temperatures less than 0C. Put it in the freezer and you’ll see what I mean. It’s a simple fix just 1 line see other thread.

@sbright33
which thread?

@sbright33
thanks, have updated the file.
