Is it wps i am meant to be using? I am using the iphone 4!
I am trying to connect over 3g using the phone as a hotspot password and iphone name is given to me when i turn hotspot on.
But its not discoverable in the imp app?. Is it meant to be?
The imp app can’t discover wifi networks (the iOS APIs don’t let you do that) - it just populates the current wifi network the phone is on.
Are you using iOS7? I’ve used the tethering with an imp successfully on iOS6 but have not tried it on 7 yet.
I’ve tethered on iOS 7, should work OK.
Hi @hugo - any update on getting IMPS to work with captive portals? This will help us win some hotel chain clients.
