Is there a possibility of a SDK to talk to the imp? Or a PC-based web server interface API? Like running under Apache or???
The ideas I have for these require a closed network and being able to talk directly to the IP address. So having a IP protocol API would be great.
Sorry, that’s not how the imp works. It relies on our service to provide much of the backend support for the advanced features (many of which are not yet announced) - it’s not a generic wifi card.

Support of imp operation with unreliable/intermittent wifi connection is coming, which might help with your application.
