Unable to connect to any other WiFi connection after agent migrating issue

I met an issue in which my imp002 is unable to connect to any other WiFi connection after an agent migrating issue. I tried with others’ WiFi and even others’ phone internet data, but it still failed to connect to WiFi. However, it can only be able to connect to my friend’s handphone internet data only when the hot spot is shared. May I know what is the problem ? And how can I solve this problem? Please help. Thank you.

Agents may migrate at any time, but that won’t affect your imp002’s ability to connect to WiFi locally. If you can connect to your friend’s phone, that suggests the problem lies with the configuration information you’ve sent to the device (via BlinkUp) when you try and connect to other networks.

LED is flashing like ‘searching for WiFi’ (https://electricimp.com/docs/troubleshooting/blinkup/wifisearching/) and then ‘joining WiFi netowrk’ (https://electricimp.com/docs/troubleshooting/blinkup/wifijoining/).

I would check your WiFi network set-up. For example, if the WLAN is running on channel 13, a US-sourced imp002 will not connect to it: it can only connect to channels 1 through 11; the other two, 12 and 13, are not ‘legal’ in the US, though they are in the rest of the world. My house’s WiFi is running on channel 13 and imp can be connected to it previously.
Is this WiFi connection problem still related to the channel issue?

Are you sure you don’t have a US spec imp?
