So I found an extremely simple solution to BlinkUp pair with your imp and home network that worked for me.
I had been trying all the tips and suggestions. dark room, black tape, holding the phone from imp at numerous distances, migrating all over my home to block out interference, you name it. mind you i think i spent a sold hour and a half testing combinations.
I realized I pay for a low wireless service plan, which limits the performance of multiple devices since im connecting to a single modem.
What worked was I disconnected my iPhone and my laptop from the network, followed the advice with a strip of black tape, ran the app a few mm away from imp and connected! I have an htc innovation runningvKoasFroyo 2.2.1.
let me know if this works out for anyone and maybe a more thorough explanation of what might have caused this.
