Has there been any thought given to exposing a SNR value alongside the RSSI? Is that a diagnostic that the Broadcom chips make available? I recognise that RSSI is the more useful of the two, but having any extra info may help with detecting interference or finding optimal channel arrangements for WLANs.
It does appear to be available fairly easily, though only gives SNR for the BSSID you are currently connected to. Still useful?
If you think it might provide an indication of possible interference, then it could be useful for troubleshooting. If made available on a test version, I would be happy to monitor it our our units and see if it’s informative.
