I know people can goto a certain web address to verify that the server is up, but how about just an unambiguous spot on Planner - a green box “Imp server is up” or red box “Imp server is down” just to relieve anyone’s doubt if/when they are having problems getting their imp booted, that its not the server thats the problem.
We’ll have a service status page in due course; however, given that the server in question is the one sending you the planner, if you can get to the planner the service is generally up 
Our downtime in the last month+ has been in the realm of seconds during each deploy - but that’s not to say there aren’t still bugs that are frustrating people during both setup and code development that are just as annoying as a server that’s down.
