Service issues

9:05PST: Maintenance was about 180 seconds (imp connectivity restored after about 3 minutes), but then the load balancers were upset briefly causing planner/api/agent disruption for ~10 minutes more. Apologies for any inconvenience.

are the imps that stop working around 8:45 supposed to come up and running at some point? i have 2 of them still not spitting out any logs, and cannot do the run button thing…

Yes, they should come back - apart from the known issue with release 25 which can prevent connection retries. We have a candidate fix for that which we’re testing in-house and with some customers this week.

maybe 2 of my imps then are affected from that i will restart from home, thats all it takes powercycle correct?

Correct. Apologies for the inconvenience - the new wifi offline mode changes resulted in imps newly being happy with being offline (in certain circumstances), which isn’t right in some other circumstances.

no worries Hugo… product is still in development

My agents were re-stared 3 times today [not be me] any issues?

Nothing specific, no; there’s been some work on streamlining server deploys which would have caused an agent restart.

Agents will get restarted from time to time (load balancing, geographical imp movement, server maintenance/upgrades), and should be written to deal with this (which will be a lot easier when server.save is available!).

In the future you should generally get the shutdown notification before this happens - see http://devwiki.electricimp.com/doku.php?id=electricimpapi:server:onshutdown&s[]=shutdown - to allow you to clean up before shutting yourself down.

near future??

Yesterday everything was working fine, but today the whole day does not work.

In what may be the Problem?

In this LED flashes as follows: "Short green, off, Long green, off Slow = Verifying firmware update"
What does it mean?

@3dvoice: that could be the DNS problem, see this thread: http://forums.electricimp.com/discussion/comment/7526#Comment_7526

Peter

Peter, Thank you very much for your reply.

One device by the end of the day began to work, but the second is still no. This is not a DNS problem.
