Reading from I2C ITG-3200 Gyroscope


I apologise if this seems basic, but I’m new to the Imp and Squirrel and wanted to dive in at the deep end. I am unsure how to proceed. :frowning:

I’m trying to read from an ITG-3200 Gyroscope. AFAIK, everything is wired up correctly (SCL to Pin1, SDA to Pin2 on the April board) and I’ve followed the devwiki on I2C devices to the best of my ability but I can’t seem to get the thing to read. There’s a wealth of knowledge using Arduino which I thought I’d be able to apply somehow, but no luck. Does anyone have any experience with using a similar module on the electric imp and can offer some friendly advice on how to structure the code? :slight_smile:

Again, I’m sorry I am quite new to all of this. Just trying to get a hobby project off the ground!
