Paralleling outpt pins for increased current

I would like to increase the maximum output current of an IMP output by paralleling two output pins. Turning on or off one pin after the other results in a momentary out of spec condition. Is there a simple way to ‘OR’ together two pins ( e.g., PINs 1 & 2) to be updated in a single write to the port, similar to bit operations in ‘C’?

There is no such mechanism. Just add a FET to the output pin!
