Yes, it can connect to open wifi (you can even make it scan for open networks and attempt connection to those that it finds with code if you want).
What it can’t deal with are landing pages. It has to have a direct path to the internet.
a Ok for example I Make a Device to a Campus but they have a landing page I can conect to Open Wifi and with the MAC Address active the imp?
If there’s a landing page, that won’t work. The imp cannot get around this.
If you have the ability to pass a mac address (from another machine) to pre-authenticate the imp’s mac address and allow it direct access to the internet, that might work…
