Lots of device connected

Suddenly I am getting a lot of device connected messages…

and it just continues on… I haven’t changed anything on this device for quite a while, and its been working fine until now, is something up, or is my imp dying? D:

Interesting that they’re all exactly ten seconds apart.

Yes, not sure why, they stopped on their own again too…

Got a device ID?

Were you using setpermanentvalues/server.save from the device? It looks like you were - there were some issues with that this morning; it’s a deprecated function too, so ideally remove it and replace it with a server.save() on the agent side.

I am using server.save(rainTable); but only in the agent, the device is only doing readings and sending them to the agent as they come in.

That’s… strange. I’m likely misreading the logs, I’ll check with someone who knows better than me

The feedback from people who know said this was the agent-side issue with server.save() that was causing sporadic issues over the weekend for some agents.

The fix was deployed essentially just as your problems stopped.
