Imp 001 vs imp 002

Hello,

I saw that the imp001 is “Not recommended for new commercial designs” and I was wondering why. I am not going to need that many (probably around 200); is the 002 still recommended even for this small quantity?

You’re fine buying a couple of hundred; if you wanted 10k - or want to be confident of continuing to buy more supply in the coming years without needing to redesign - then you’d really need to use 002.
