How can planid be set

The Blink up http://electricimp.com/docs/manufacturing/blinkup_faqs/
States the following:
“When blinking up an imp, a planId is generated. This planId can be used as a token that you can store to identify a user. If you store the planId, you can use it on future BlinkUps from the application (by setting the planId property).”

How can I set the planid property? Found no documentation

I think this documentation is meant for production editions, instead of developer editions

Dolf is spot on. That documentation is designed for commercial developers who are integrating the BlinkUp SDK into their application.

If you’re a non-commercial developer, PlanID can be ignored.
