[Exit Code] imp restarted, reason: wifi error

I have this problem
in the server log
[Exit Code] imp restarted, reason: wifi error

Also my code is logging values that should not be logging.
Seems like its caching some data, or just crazy!!
I have an rfid reader connected and when i power my imp and before moving a tag over the antena its spitting the code from previous boots.

are these 2 problems related?

Thank you

I found the answer.

the imp cannot be so close to the antenna.

Working now with imp and rfid antenna apart from each other…

What was your RSSI? The wifi spec says that -20dBm is the maximum 802.11n 2.4GHz input power. Any numbers higher than that will definitely be problematic.

Wifi error means the broadcom chip has got upset. The next release deals with this far more seamlessly, but really broadcom need to stop their chip getting upset.

I get the same error message. My problem is, the imp control a power switch (pump). When the pump runs its very uncool if the imp restarts and power off the power switch. Any solutions?

If de-energising a relay is a risk, consider a bi-stable switch.

…or try release 30. PM mac address to me and I’ll add you to the list.
