Connecting node in planner

I have just received my Electric imp development kit and I am trying a few tests.
Hello world was Ok.
I copied the blink-o-matic program and when I try to connect the Tick-Tock node it says Impee has no inputs, what am I doing wrong.

The code needs to run imp.configure with an input port in order for there to be one on the planner to connect to.
