Commission WiFi parameters with Imp acting as a WiFi host
I bought a $99 “7-Day Touchscreen WiFi-Enabled Programmable Thermostat with Backlight” from homedepot.com Jan 2012 and this is the way it did it.
- from my Comet Huawei U8150 WiFi I selected it as the WiFi source
- then stepped into its web and setup the WiFi network SSID connections.
The setup worked very nicely.
I wouldn’t recommend that particular Thermostat, and I turned off the WiFi as the thermostat functions weren’t thought out very well.
