Does a device with electric imp (imp001 and an april board) and some attached sensors require certification in Canada for commercial use?

imp001 is fully FCC/IC/CE certified as a product - which means you only have to do unintentional radiator testing on the thing it plugs into. Depending on how simple that is, that could be pretty cheap (like if it’s a couple of relays for example).
…but note, the imp001 is not made any more. They’re still available, and will continue to be fully supported by our OS (there are several commercial users) but they will run out at some point.
Oh! This must be a new update. A couple of months ago it was there on the website and only imp002 I guess had a note that it will be discontinued. Thanks for letting me know!
