Hello all,

We are using Electric imps in a product we are developing and we came across a funny issue involving the Blink Up i.e. it was not working for us. We contacted the Guys and they helped us with the issue and this is just a quick post to say thanks and also to show other how we overcame the issues.

POWER SAVING MODE

This hammered us for a few days but when we switched it off the Blink Up worked.

Tested with Two Samsung Galaxy 3 phones

Yep, new versions of the imp app blinkup (and the current commercial blinkup libraries) detect powersave mode and prompt the user to turn it off. Samsung helpfully didn’t actually put an API in to control this so it has to be manual :frowning:
